Cohort Hires: Preparation of Selection Committees
Dear Colleagues,
The U of A is currently engaged in a Black Academic Excellence Cohort Hire. Up to 11 selection committees will be struck. I am seeking your advice, perhaps based on similar initiatives in your institutions, about how to best prepare and structure those committees.
I am particularly interested in if your modified your bias awareness or EDI training in particular ways.
Thanks for your guidance!
